The Siege: Earl's Keep

My next piece about the siege of Castle Wacenwic.
This interior environment design shows some of the dirty, gritty conditions under which the defender’s forces have made camp inside the castle’s keep to bring in men and horses from the cold in the overcrowded situation.
I really loved digging into not only research about castle structures, but also equipment and conditions in medieval warfare, which made up a big part of the background of this piece.
